Most pages black and white; four illustrations are done in spot color (red, blue, yellow, green), a series of "EARTH, FIRE, WATER, AIR" by Terry Gallagher. Another Gallagher illo is a red diagram of a papercraft shoe that readers are instructed to cut-out, fold, glue, and "Admire, hang, collect."
